INDEPENDENT TEAM FROM ROCK ISLAND FORMS FOR 1907 SEASON

1907 - ROCK ISLAND, IL - A group of men who love the game of football, form an Independent team with no Athletic Club affiliation, no Social Club ties and no Corporate Company backing or sponsorship. The team rightly is named the Independents. This is the first step of many that the team would take on their way to national recognition and the NFL.
